1964 Custom Volkswagen Karmann Ghia Convertible

1964 Custom Karmann Ghia convertible. This car was restored to show condition over 25 years ago and has been sitting for the past 5 until now. It has a 1776 ci engine, niversal case, 9 mm Gene Berg crank, ods are balanced and shotpeen, 8mm Cima pistons and cylinders, ngle 120 cam, eads are ported and polished, anley valves, eavy duty rockers dual Solex 40mm carbs, ual fortuned exhaust, 00mm 12 lb flywheel, actory style tach. The rear wheels were 15 inch cut down to 14 and widened to 6 inches. The front wheels were 14 inch cut down to 13 and widened to 6 inches, 05/60 R 13 and 205/60 R 14 tires.The car runs and drives great, ith a new clutch, ew brakes including new drums. The engine is strong, ut one or two of the rod tubes leaks oil. The car's paint is good, ut showing wear around the rocker panels and there is a dent in the front left fender. The car needs some work: needs new door latch on the drivers side, ngine compartment latch, orn doesn't work, eeds carpet kit, eats need cleaning as well as the door panels, he rag top is shot and some of the hardware is bad, issing some trim piece's on top of the doors, hubcap clip is missing, o wipers and washer doesn't work.Included is a bunch of parts (see pictures).Custom items include: badge taken off front, ighted license plate frame, tick shift has been moved back 3 inches, oll bar, ash rebuild, actory style tach, ut doesn't work.This car can be driven daily and is a blast to drive and gets looks where ever you go, ut it needs some TLC.
