1969 Convertible total restoration | |
1969 Convertible for sale, very system on the car is brand new! Restored every system with the finest parts available, o short cuts. New systems: -new suspensions and brakes, irkewld Ultimate 4" narrowed adjustable beam, ew tie rods, all joints, rop spindles, nd shocks. Brakes are from CB Performance disc w/ 5 x 130mm bolt pattern, ew master cylinder, rake lines and reservoir. Rear brakes are Airkewld drum kit w/5 x 130mm bolt pattern, nd new brake lines. Rear suspension lowered 2 clicks and new shocks and new axles. Engine: Brand new 1914cc motor built by Rons Performance Machine Shop in Dayton Ohio. Engine has full flow oil system, -110 cam, 4mm cylinder heads, 5cc hemi cut heads, xternal oil cooler w/fan, xternal oil filter, cat serpentine belt system. Weber 40mm HPMX carbs, intage Speed muffler, SD Ignition Distributor, SD6AL control box under back seat, SD coil and wires. New electric Jegs fuel pump, egulator and breather box installed. Transmission: Rebuilt stock transmission with freeway flyer top gear, ll new mounting brackets, tock starter and Vintage Speed shifter. Electrical: All wiring in entire car was replaced with Street Rod Electrical Kwik Harness, 4 circuit wire harness. New gauges installed, peedometer rebuilt with zero miles, ew Dehme digital gas gauge from Vintage Speed. All light fixtures replaced with new, ll lenses used NOS Hella lenses. Has third brake light on rear bumper. Marchal front fog lights, ll lights work, ead, urn tail,stop, nd licence plate. Wiper are wired and have switch, ot installed will give motor and braket w/purchase. (don't like the look) Retrosound Classic Radio installed with 6 x 9 speakers in carpeted boxes behind rear seat. Optima battery Body Work: Body on restoration, ll paint was stripped to bare metal, ny rust was removed and new metal installed. Rear luggage are(under back seat) was replaced with a new panel welded in. Has original hood, runk, oors, ll fenders where replaced. Front fender used pre66 fenders so the use of old head lights could be used, ear fenders where stock and older tail lights used. Bumper brackets where replaced, ront cut and welded in spare tire areas and rear where replace with old style bracket and pre 67 blade bumpers where used. German running boards are used, re 66 chrome trim was used. Pan was sand blasted and sprayed with sound deadener Lizard Skin inside and underneath. The wheel wells and inside fenders where coated in truck bed liner and painted to match. Car is painted in DuPont single stage Tan. Interior: All interior areas was covered with Lizard Skin sound deadener. Sewfine interior package was purchased for the car. German weave carpet throughout. Front seat are brand new Scat and where covered in tan vinyl and tweed fabric, ack seat is original and covered in same fabric as front. Door card and panels match with arm rest and new door crank hardware. Sun visors are covered in tan vinyl. New Flat 4 steering wheel, ll new electrical switched and glove box latch. New Sewfine tan fabric convertible roof with new pad and head liner in off white. Comes with fabric boot cover with new snaps. Wheels: New 17" Chrome Super Speed rims from Cip1 New Front Kumho tires 17" x 205 x 45 New Rear Kumho tires 17" x 205 x 50 This is a brand new car, bought it out of San Diego California, years ago and I finial finished it after two years. It needs a good home, ot needing to sell, ust know it will not get driven as much as my other 3, anted to finish it right so someone could enjoy. Keep the tire kicking to a minimum please.
