1971 convertible Beetle VW volswagen volkswagon bug roadster classic

Although you can restore a car over and over they're only original once. and here we have a very genuine original condition 1971 VW convertible beetle in absolutely stunning condition. It's 44 years old! but you wouldn't know it from looking at. or driving it. The paint is original. The Interior and mechanicals all in great original condition. It has 31k miles since new and has been well loved and cared for over the years. The body and paint is overall in excellent condition and the clementine orange color still shines like a new car. There are a few very minor chips and flaws as you might expect for its age. No sign of previous accident damage or repair. The hood. engine cover and doors all fit and shut beautifully. The convertible top too is in great condition and folds up and down easily. The chrome is all excellent with only very minor wear in a few spots. The front bumper has a small ding behind the front license plate. The glass is also excellent with only a very small chip in the windshield. The Interior is incredibly nice too! original seats with no rips or tears front or back. still very comfortable and supportive. Carpets are great. Dash is clean and nice. The headliner (part of the convertible top) has 1 split near the rear window but also generally in very nice condition. Heat and defrost work great. The 1600cc Dual port engine starts easy and runs excellent with no issues at all. The gearbox shifts smoothly through all gears. Clutch and brakes are great. Electrics are all in good working condition. This car is completely ready for summer fun! The tires are in great condition. and there is a good spare. I can't stress enough. this is not a restored car but an amazingly low miles and well kept original! As such it is not perfect and it's only real flaw is some typical rust on the passenger side floor under the battery area (see picture). This is quite easily repaired but I'll let the new owner decide if they want it done. There is no other rust I can find anywhere on the car. The Beetle is currently licensed and comes with a clear title. Buyer is responsible for shipping costs and arrangements.
