1971 is considered by most the best year of the VW bus. 1971 is the first year of disc brakes, ast year of the upright bugtype motor, nd last year of the much beloved early low light early bumper body style. With the rebuilt motor it cruises at free way speeds easily. The bus has been properly lowered so it handles nice, much better than stock). This is not a fully restored bus. It does however have a lot of character and has been well cared for over the years.
