1972 Volkswagen Super Beetle BAJA SE Marathon Edition with 41,737 Miles. Mechanically and cosmetically excellent. NO RUST or evidence of past rust - floor etc. is excellent.1/1000 built to commemorate VW's off road racing success from 1967 - 1971 and to commemorate the VW Beetle in surpassing the Ford Model T as the all time model sales leader. This vehicle is a "must have" for the serious VW Collector.The Baja featured Lemmerz Marathon wheels, apered tail pipes, pecial L96M Metallic blue paint, riving lights, umper pads & over riders, aja body stripe and a special dash plaque. A glove box lock, ull interior an trunk carpeting were also included. A new stripe kit is included but not installed as a matter of personal preference. Also included in the sale: Car cover -Tool kit - new period correct AM radio with speaker, ntenna and install kit - coco mats& luggage rack.Excellent runner with a dry engine, reat heater boxes, ew muffler, attery and 5 new proper sized tires.
