2003 Volkswagen GTI 20th Anniversary Edition

Up for sale is a rare 2003 Volkswagen GTI 20th Anniversary, #2019 (only 4200 made). I am the original owner of this fun, reliable, and fast hatchback. This car has been extremely well taking care of. As an aircraft mechanic, I have performed every scheduled maintenance interval to includebelts, spark plugs, water pump, thermostat, fuel filter, timing/serpentine belt, all fluid flushes, and brake pads. The vehicle only sees 5W30 full synthetic with an upgraded Mann W919 Oil Filter. I have all the original dealership invoices during the warranty period for any service records/recalls.

As a 13-year-old car, there are scratches here and there mostly under the front and on the rear bumper cover.There is also bird excrement residue on the left rear quarter panel when the car sat for two months. There is one small dime size dent over the rear wheel fender however, there is no rust.

I am a non-smoker and kept the interior pretty clean. The only defects are the fabric covers on the door sills and C pillars, which are normal to be a little loose.

The suspension is stock and the car comes with lifetime alignments from any Firestone center.

This GTI includes upgraded VW R32 projector headlights with xenonlights, that produce the very sharp OEM cut off line. The ECU was professionally upgraded by goapr.com which increased gas mileage to 27 mpg, horsepower to 215hp, and torque to 245lb-ft (from 180hp & 173lb-ft stock) @ 93 octane fuel. This program can also run 100 octane fuel @ 225hp & 255lb-ft torque. Other features include stock mode, security lockout, anti-theft, and valet mode.

This is a Lo-Jack equipped vehicle. Also installed is a hidden hitch for use of installing a bike, ski, or a snowboard rear rack. Red Top Optima is 3 years old and has been tricle charged once a week. Included are both summer and rubber winter mats, as well as Michelin Pilot Sport A/S (all-season) performance tires (purchased in 2015 with full certificates from America's/Discount Tire). The dealership where I purchased the car (Sunnyvale, Ca VW) honors lifetime Perma Plate applications.This GTI has an HKS Sequential BOV as well.
