Want a fun classic California car? I have the convertible for you to enjoy the Golden State's (or any state's) sunshine! Selling my 2001 black-on-black VW Cabrio (automatic). I've owned the car for seven years and had my fun with it, but I just became a mommy and need more serious wheels to scoot around baby. Asking $2600 (or best offer). Below are the details on my sweet little ride.
There are lots of good points, but there are some not-so-good points as well, which may be expected due to the age of the car. Here you go with my honest assessment!
Lowlights:-Heater does not work, but hey, you're in California-AC does not work, but again, you're in California and it's a convertible :)-In all seriousness, each repair would cost $400-500, if you care to fix them. I can explain in detail, if you're interested.-Wiper fluid reservoir does not hold water-Sometimes to engage into reverse, you'll need to shift into first (quirky, I know, but it does the trick)-Key FOB has some wear
Highlights:-Brakes and tires still have good life on them - replaced last year-Convertible roof in good cosmetic and mechanical shape and should last you many years riding around in the sun-Synthetic oil change done approximately 1,000 miles ago, so you still have some mileage to go-Engine runs smoothly-All oil changes done on a regular maintenance schedule-Transmission shifts smoothly-Registration is good through the end of this year
