2002 volkswagen jetta tdi sedan. 1.9 turbo diesel engine. White 4 door. Car was my daily driver up until recently. Always changed the oil with synthetic oil every 4000 miles. Put a brand new timing belt kit on it about two weeks ago which was pointless because just last week the injector pump froze up which caused the new timing belt to snap. I was able to get the injector pump free. I know it will need a new timing belt and I'm pretty sure it also bent the valves and will need a valve job. The car shifted great and the air blows ice cold. The heat keeps you warm in the winter also. The exterior or the car looks very good with a small ding here and there but its white so you never see them (its a 14 year old car). The door and fender on the passenger side have a little crease near the bottom of them that is the worst of it, but I have a white door and fender for it for an extra $150 if you're interested. The interior is in pretty damn good shape with no rips or tares. All the power windows work as they should also. Cd player and all speakers work great. All interior and exterior lights work as they should. Windows are tinted. Tires are great. I'm a vw guy and purchased another jetta because I liked this car so much. I will be changing the wheels with the wheels on my current jetta that I'm driving. Picture of wheels that will be put on this jetta will be added to the auction. Just to be clear, this car was my daily driver but it it is no longer running and will at the very least need a new timing belt to run but more than likely a valve job. Once car is running it gets about 50 mpg which is nice. Feel free to email me and ask questions. I loved this car a lot and it will be missed. No reserve auction
On Aug-11-16 at 04:49:35 PDT, seller added the following information:I have decided to leave the wheels and tires on the car that are currently on the car. The rear tires are about 75% tread but the front tires are brand new and less than a month old. I'm leaving the current wheels and tires on to car due to me failing to mention the cracked windshield. The crack is very close to the top and its not an obstruction to the driver and will not cause you to get a ticket. I never installed a new windshield because it was never a problem for me and I talked to several law enforcement officers who said it wasn't obstructing my view and not to worry about it. The brand new front tires that I'm leaving on the car were around $150 which is about the same cost of a new windshield if you really want to get one installed. Sorry for this mistake and happy bidding!!
