1998 Volkswagen Passat GLS 1.8 turbo Manual (Stick shift) does not run

Sold by owner. Great purchase for those who wish to rebuild/fix . customize. I have not been driving this car for the past several months: on and off throughout the ownership period. The engine was rebuilt at 186 000 (it is now 189 322 miles). It has beautiful alloy wheels; two front tires are new (Michelin). Vehicle has "AcDelco" high-quality/professional battery. It is well designed/looks attractive. The fuel pump needs to be fixed or replaced (a mechanic's diagnosis for vehicle not to run). The moon-roof does not respond. There is 1 key.
