2002 VW Golf TDI 4 Door Automatic Great Condition Low miles (8,000 miles/year)

This is a great 2002 Golf TDI Hatch back with options working the way they are supposed to work.

I bought it a over a year ago and had no issue with the car. The TDI has only 121,243 miles which equates to a bit over 8,000 miles per year. This is considered very low especially for a TDI automobile.

This is NOT a grey marketed car with milage in Kilometer but actually made for USA. The car is being sold by private seller with NO selling Fees. The title is California and the car has recently passed the tough California emmissions

- New Timing Belt (good for 90,000 miles)

- New Water Pump

- New Rollers and Tensioners

- New Oil (5/W40 Castrol Synthetic) and Filter (good for 5,000 miles)

2002 TDI 1.9L ENGINE / TURBO and TRANSMISSION

The engine has very low miles only 8,000 miles per year (121K total miles).

I get 40+ MPG with the cruise control set at 72 MPH ****

The Engine Runs VERY Strong and has alot of torque to pull away.

The turbo kicks in immediately without any lag.

Engine is very clean see the pictures provided.

The transmission shifts seamlessly from 1st gear to the 4th gear.

THE 1.9 TDI engine and turbo and transmission is running just like it should. There are no check engine lights.

THE TIMING BELT is BRAND NEW and good for 90,000 miles with a new water pump

There are no noises from the engine and transmission.

SUSPENSION & BRAKING

The front shocks are good but the 2 rear shocks (parts are only $50 will need replacement soon, .. simply a pure German handling experience. The car handles very precisely and you can make an inch on the road, even at highway speeds.

The tires are in great condition (see pictures) with about 70% tread left on them.

Taking hands off steering wheel at 70MPH it drives straight as an arrow.

The brakes, both front and rear are in very good condition and provide a lot of stopping power.

THE INTERIOR

It has black and white pattern cloth Seats,They are in Great CONDITION !! There are NO TEARS (see pictures).

The interior is in great condition for the year of the car (see Pictures). The door handles and plastics show wear which is normal for this year 2002 Golf. In later years Volkswagen changed the plastic materials to improve wear.

The dashboard is without any cracks and looks like it is just a few years old. The 4 door Panels, Carpet is also in great condition, very clean

The 4 power windows and their power lock work perfectly.

It has a good stereo system with CD and Cassette.

The car comes with a remote key that works.

The roof liner has an inch black stain (see picture)

The tint on the glass in medium and you can see through both windows standing outside (see pictures)

The tint gives a great contrast with the white color and matches with the blackened special tail light assemblies.

The car has original paint in good condition.

There is no rust on the car that can be seen on the body

All lights work correctly.

The exterior handles work the way they are supposed to work.

The hood and the back door shocks hold well and uphold the doors.

There is no plastic or exterior components missing.

There are normal few small dents and scratches on the exterior body.

Totality of CONDITION

The overall condition of this 2002 TDI Golf with very low miles is very good. The car needs only 2 rear shocks (I can always provide the new shocks) is very nice outside and inside. The car runs good and had great tires and breaks. The engine and transmission is in very good condition. The car drives and handles very well. It is nice to drive a German handling automobile.
