1959 Volkswagen Beetle. No rust issues. This car has an older restoration. The paint job is starting to fade. The body has mirror dents here & there just from being driver. It does have replacement floor pans on both sides, from front to back. The front apron, a common rust area, is not rusted at all, but it is dented up on the bottom edge behind the bumper. You can't really see it unless you lay down under it .I've pointed out some other flaws in my video bc I try to represent my cars as honestly as I can so that there's no disappointments. This is a good driver quality classic. The car is mechanically sound, steering, brakes, gears, clutch, sunspencion, etc...everything muve like it should. The ingine is a 1200 cc GEX remanufactured engine with only 5000 milles on it. The wiring harness is new and it is been update to 12 volt. All the electrical stuff works, exept the original AM radio. The tires are in great shape, but it dropped spindles on the front, which causes the tires to rub when you turn. it needs a lower profile tire size on the front, aside from that it's completely road worthy and runs & drive as good as it did back when Eisenhower was still president. |
