This is a very hard to find VW TDI and one of the most desirable. 2003 was the last year for the legendarily reliable and efficient ALH engine. With the manual transmission this car is capable of close to 50 mpg on the highway. This car does have 198. 00 miles on it. but you would never know it by looking at it or driving it. These engines and transmissions are well known for their longevity and reliability. We see cars with over 400. 00 miles on these engines. This particular example is in extremely good condition especially considering the age and mileage. This car has been a southern car so it doesn’t have any of the rust that plagues some of these cars. It has been very well maintained. It has a clear title history with no problems to report. This car has been serviced in our shop for the last couple years. It has a recent timing belt. water pump. clutch and flywheel. tie rod ends. axle boots. control arm bushings. brand new struts. new tires all the way around. new brakes at all four corners. and of course new fluids and filters. It also has the dieselgeek skid plate underneath for added under body protection. We just had it Virginia state inspected as well. It is ready to drive anywhere. The exterior is in very good condition with glossy and smooth paint. clear headlight lenses. and nice wheels. Only some minor rock chips that have been touched up and a couple scuffs on the rear bumper detract from the cosmetic appearance. The interior is very nearly perfect and we have owners manuals and floor mats. You will be hard pressed to find a nicer ALH Jetta wagon anywhere even with half the miles.
