Tough. Reliable. Capable. I found a good solid desert baja with a recently built 1835 and great bones. I am a big fan of leaving stock. stock. This Baja has not been so modified to the point it's temper-mental. It is a stock car with a big engine and a full baja kit. You can adjust this motor to howl. boil the tires on pavement. or tune it loose and down to be super easy. I don't run the car hard or compete so I keep it turned down. At first I did want to see what it was capable of and it will fly. on or off road. This setup is completely variable. If you dial the points. and valves in to their finite specs and run a fire breathing Super Blaster 45. 00 volt coil this little joker is un-catchable. You drop the rear tires down to about 25 lbs of air off road and you cannot keep up with this flyer. it'll run 80 down a washboard road. people barely see you pass by. but they hear you and see the rooster tail. However. I don't run the car hard and have it tuned loose with a factory Bosch 30k coil. This car is a blast. a head turner and will take you way. way. way out and bring you back. The trans axle has a heavy duty front custom welded mount and solid rear mounts. The engine is happy to creep around off road all day or run 65-70mph on the road. or faster. Everything functions properly and is easy to operate. The Interior and the rust free pan sold me on this car when I bought it. The Original 1963 Ruby Red. I believe. interior paint with custom brushed aluminum door and rear panels looks great with the new Wimbledon White paint. The original headliner is in great shape. The original floor mat is in great shape. Custom Padded Baja Offroad Racing Seats with Seatbelts even. Custom Flat Rear Deck with tie downs. It is an amazing car all the way around. This Baja can be a street legal car. It has everything it needs to be one. The rear lights are unhooked. but than can be hooked up for reverse lights or put on a switch. You have headlights and turn signal on the front as well. Halogen off road lights are soooo bright. when you turn them on. I haven't used the car as a daily driver. just as a toy.
