1972 VW Baja Bug dune buggy

Up for sale is a 1972 vw Baja bug dune buggy. Truth be told. I don't know much about this bug. I picked it up as part of a trade. stored it in the barn over winter. and am now selling it. I will tell you all I can about it though. I think it is a 1600 cc. Mileage is unknown. It has a manual trans. the body is nice but the drivers door sags when opened. There are a few rust spots but they are not very big. I tried to get pics of some. There is a rust spot at the leading edge of the pass floor pan. again not very big. Tires are decent. It was running when I put it away. now the battery is dead and it won't take a charge. so that will need to be replaced. When it was running. it would have a little bit of black smoke right at startup. then it cleared up and ran nicely. I think the brakes will need to be serviced. The guy that I got it from said it had a newer clutch and flywheel. but I cannot verify that. i do not know if all the lights and gauges work. Seats are governs over the springs without much if any padding. those will need to be addressed. And the interior was spray painted poorly. there is a small leak coming from the engine. it left a silver dollar sized spot over the winter. Well. that is all I can think of. Check pics.
