1979 Volkswagen Beetl Convertible Karmann Edition

Purchased by me in June 2013 and have had extensive restoration work performed by local shop and have all receipts for parts and labor. Always garaged by a non-smoker since restoration work. Engine has excellent compression: #1 -115 psi. #2 -107 psi. #3 -115 psi. #4 111 psi. Ignition system converted to solid state along with a new distributor and coil. spark plugs and wires. Fuel injection system removed before my purchase and now equipped with dual carburetors and new air cleaners. Complete new exhaust system including exhaust pipes. muffler and heater boxes. New floor pans on underside. New fuel pump and hoses. new brake master cylinder. Brakes are in excellent condition. New tires with less than 200 miles on them as well as new lug nut covers and bearing dust covers. New convertible top. tonneau cover as well as new rear window glass and rubber grommet. New seat covers. floor carpets and new plastic knobs and covers on seat operators as well as new cables in seat releases. New rubber in engine bay. hood bonnet and door seals. Full size spare and original VW Beetle jack and lug wrench. New door handles and 2 keys. new ignition switch and 2 keys. glove box latch and 2 keys and bonnet release mechanism and cable. New horn. New cigar lighter. door switches and dome light assembly. Speedometer. odometer. fuel gage and low oil pressure work as well as door open alarm. Alpine AM/FM stereo radio and CD player with speakers. New shift linkage and all gears work smooth. All lights. turn signals. parking and the license plate lights work. Have a new pair of stainless rear fender gravel guards not yet installed. Also have a copy of the original VW Owners Manual and a 1970-1981 Chilton Air Cooled VW Repair manual. Also included is a battery maintainer. Regrettably.
