1954 Semaphore Oval window Near nos body Very little Az rust Restoration project

Selling my semaphore Beetle project car. I am selling only because I have too many cars and have recently moved to San Francisco. This is an immaculate Semaphore Beetle project car. This car has NEVER BEEN in an accident in over 60 years!! Never HIT!! Body only. I was planning on building a split window sunroof. Irs pan. 2 liter engine resto mod with this shell. I bought this car about 20 years ago and it was an amazing car at that time! The guy that I sold this car to ended up using the parts from it for another one of his project cars. I saw what he was doing and ran over to buy the body from him. I have had plans to build a split window semaphore sunroof car with this shell. Plan was to mount it up to an IRS chassis/floor pan to make a real road car. Use this body to replace your rusty. hit oval. or as a fresh start for your new project. Simply put. this is as near an NOS shell as you could find! This shell has two dents in it. Period. One on the roof above the passenger's side semaphore. It is a ding that has easy access from the inside of where the headliner will be. It is a ding. Not a dent. There is absolutely no roof buckling anywhere. The roof is otherwise perfect. The other dent is obvious. on the rear apron. Also. accessible from the inside. The heater channel and front firewall has rust through. you can see in the photos. Patch these and a little rust in the panel supporting the passenger side bumper mount. and you have a car ready for primer and paint!! Rare. one of the last semaphore Beetles!!
