This is a well sorted 1959 Volvo 445 station wagon. I bought it in 2009 and have been restoring it since. Exact mileage unknown. It has been restored to driver quality with new blue and white paint. new seat covers. carpet and headliner. It has the original wood slats in the cargo area. Second seat folds down to create a large storage area. Bumpers re-chromed. new window and door rubber. Rust areas were cut out and metal re-welded in. New clutch master cylinder. New kingpins and bushings. Rebuilt starter. New clutch kit w/ throw out bearing. Transmission rebuilt. New water pump and master cylinder. New motor mounts. Rebuilt carburetors. Fuel pump rebuilt. It has the original 6 volt system and it comes with a 6 volt battery tender. These cars are very reliable once they are restored. Starts easily and turns heads when driven. All the major work has been done. Now it is ready to go to a new owner. This car is listed locally and I reserve the right to end the auction at my discretion. There are lots of the 444 & 544 sedans around but there are very few 445 wagons. I've heard there are less than 300 of these left in the US. This is not a trailer queen…. it is a driver. Give me a call with your questions. Bob 9four9-500-00ninethree.
