1996 Volvo 850 Turbo Platinum Edition Wagon

1996 Volvo Platinum Edition Wagon. Heater core blew pulling into my driveway after a long drive. Carpets were shampooed and vacuumed immediately after. and the heater core bypassed. I also assume that the head gasket has blown. as the vehicle will start run and drive as normal until operating temperature is reached. A that point it smokes from the exhaust. which doessmell like antifreeze. A Common malfunction with the 850/v70 series. This car ran fantastic before the heater core issue. Pulled strong. turbo spooled as it should. and there was no puff during or while dumping boost. Adult owned and driven. and always well maintained regularly. I replaced this vehicle with a 98 AWD V70. which is a giant turd compared to this car. Had I known the light pressure turbo models would be so 'average' I would have spent that money on having a shop fix this car right away. Fog lights in the front bumper were gone when i purchased this car. There is a nice sized dent in the drivers side rear door that doesnt affect the opening/closing of the door or window. Drivers side seat bolster is worn. as usual. ABS/Tracs light is on. I have a replacement module I bought on ebay just before I stopped driving it. and will include that in the auction. Power sunroof works. all windows work. A/C blows ice cold. Heated Leather seats work. Pictures show the rear end sagging. This wagon has Nivomat rear shocks. and they do pump up properly and retain pressure. Although I have not driven this car since the core blew. I do occasionally pump the rear shocks up manually. If you know your volvos. then you know how they work. I've been meaning to repair this myself. but lost my job and mortgage is due. Pictures show a spare on the drivers rear. Tire went flat over the winter. and my 12v pump doesnt have enough balls to reinflate it. There were only 1500 platinum editions imported into the US. and this is a one year only limited edition vehicle.
