1997 Volvo 850 T5 with 146,600 miles. I'm only the 2nd owner of this car, hich is unusual for a 850. The title is clean and in hand. This car is modified to be a fun daily driver. The tune is probably a bit on the conservative side and reliability has been a top priority.
This 850 is about as loaded as an 850 could be!Trip computer
Front Fogs and rear fogs
Rear factory spoiler
Dual power front seats
Heated power side mirrors
Power windows
Power sunroof
Power antenna
Trip computer
Traction control
Two keys and one Volvo keyless entry remote
Sony CD player with mp3 aux input. I also have the original head unit if you would like it.Power antennaVolvo floor mats
I would consider this 850 to be in very good to excellent condition. There are no dents and no rust. There are some very minor scuffs and one scratch on the rear fender. One plastic door trim piece is chipped on the corner.
In the interior, he drivers side seat bolster is splitting like it does on pretty much all tan leather Volvo seats. Most of the interior door pulls have chips in the plastic corners. I don't believe the drivers side seat heater works anymore. I'm not sure about the passenger side one. The rest of the interior is in good condition.
Everything works but the heated seat for the driver.
This car is modified a bit!
Turbo - rebuilt Volvo 18T from a v70R. Maximumboost is set at 18psi by the ECU.
Blue top Volvo injectors
ME4.4 conversion and tune
OBX 3" DP to 2.5" exhaust with upgraded clamps (somewhat loud)
OBX strut tower brace
IPD intake and heat shield (factory air box will also be included with car)
IPD transmission cooler
IPD / MSD coil kit
IPD heavy duty TCV
IPD silicone TCV hose kit
IPD heavy duty spring seats
IPD heavy duty CBV kit
IPD / VDO boost gauge kit
IPD 3 pod gauge kit. One pod has the Wide Band gauge. One pod has the boost gauge. The last pod is empty.
IPD silicone coolant hoses for the turbo coolant lines
Innovate Wide Band o2 gauge and sensor.
Poly upper and lower engine torque mounts from FCP
At 141,000 miles the timing belt, ater pump and idler pulley were replaced. In the last 12 months the car got a new Bosch fuel pump, osch cam position sensor and Bosch front o2 sensor. Most of the coolant hoses were also replaced due to feeling soft. Some were probably original. The oil cooler hoses were also replaced.
This year the Volvo dealer has replaced one axle and cv joint, id an alignment and replaced the coolant sensor.
The transmission is running Valvoline synthetic fluid. The transmission shifts very well and has no issues. The Ipd oil cooler was added to keep it that way. A manual swap would be a fun next step for the car though I simply don't have the time or space for it. I've also done regular oil changes with Mobil synthetic oil and Mobil 1 oil filters. Currently it has Castrol synthetic and a Mann filter.
The air condition works and blows cold.
The drivers door check may need to be replaced soon. The door doesn't stop in the middle of its opening swing anymore. The door does open and stop opening at its normal position.
The car has 16" wheels and kumho ecsta 4x tires.
This car has been my daily driver the last three years. It has been very reliable car for me. I'm only selling it because I own more Volvo's than I have time to drive. I take very good care of my vehicles. I think you'd be hard pressed to find a 850 T5 in similar or better condition.
