HI, ell here it is, SUPER RARE GS ragtop STICK with AIR! Yes, his is one of the super rare GS ragtops with the 4 speed. 1 of only 51 ever built a real time capsule.
My 1971 GS ragtop stick is in very original condition, es it needs to be restored, ut this is THE car to do.
You can see just in GS ragtop production numbers alone, hat this is a valuable and rare Skylark GS, ith totals of only 656. That's it! Now ad the 4speed and now you're in the top collector car market with very few examples ever built, 1 to be exact, nd finally, ow many of the 51 came with AIR with a ragtop? Probably puts this car in the 1 of 10-15?
Also, eal cool colors you don't normally see on a GS. Sandpiper Beige with Saddle notchback bench and Tan top.
I have verified and taken pics of all the pertinent numbers documenting the car.
Engine has orig. vin stamped block(currently frozen),code 71 heads orig. intake and rare 4 speed only distributor.
M21 Tranny is the orig. vin stamped casting with nice #’s and date codes deeply stamped. Also some odd things about stamp locations, hich were up to each plant to determine where and how to stamp them.
Rear is the original 3:08 posi which was the highest you could get with AC.
I have title in hand from the second owner and its still dated from his purchase in 1977, he car was only 6 years old! also comes with a mileage book kept by the second owner showing all the upkeep, il changes, ires, aintenance etc. When do you see that anymore? This is as close as you can get to a time capsule car. Never been restored, he tan top is the orig. color and was replaced some years ago as the car was sitting to be redone body-wise. The top frame is mint and the factory inspection sticker is still in place, ook at pic. The top looks super clean, o rips or tears and should be ready to go. The doors and jambs are also rear nice and solid, he body will need restoring. This car was never owned by a kid, o monkey stuff ever done to it.
At this writing the car was sitting long years, oesn't currently run, ut did when it was stored. This GS still has the factory HURST shifter with the shift pattern inside the H logo, sure sign its all there! The car also comes with factory front disc power brakes, lock dash, he set of Buick mags are included but the original steel wheels and excellent condition spoke wheel covers come with it as well. All business, ith no console, ust the rubber boot on the floor, hich is still in place, lthough the boot has seen better days. I have most every piece you don's see in the pics, ncluding the red ribbed stripe chrome rocker moldings, ir parts etc!

The car frame is in rough shape, as rot, ut these frames and sheet metal are easy to locate and very reasonably priced especially for a car this valuable! Did I mention this is an Air conditioned GS ragtop stick??!!! Its complete.
I have a GS rear wing for the trunklid, nd a COMPLETE YEAR ONE RAM AIR air cleaner and ram air tubes that come from the chin spoiler underneath! All brand new and ready to mount to the car after paint! Super cool looking performance parts that function and complete a killer rag top package with excellent factory paperwork!
