2002 was a big year in the history of the Chevrolet Camaro, he big positive being the 35th year of production since Chevrolets F-body was introduced to do battle on the streets and showrooms with the Ford Mustang, ery few cars reach such a milestone. GM announced the limited production 35th Anniversary Edition Camaro SS and presented here is one of such cars in hard top body style. All anniversary cars were painted red with special silver striping and badging, pecial two tone leather interior with “35th Anniversary” embroidery and special wheel treatment.

Finished in a Bright Rally Red, his car shows extremely well with only very minor imperfections visible upon close inspection. “SS” forced air induction hood, SS” specific rear deck spoiler and “SS” badging. All the trim is present, omplete and displays normal wear. The front and rear bumpers fit is extremely tight and finish is exquisite. The weather-stripping is pliable, ith little or no signs of drying, earing or shrinkage. The car has a slight window tinting that compliments and completes the “sport” appearance. The power black convertible top is in very good condition with the rear window in excellent condition. The original 17 inch wheels represent well with only slight signs of marring or curb rash.

Inside, he two-tone Ebony with grey leather bucket seats with 35th anniversary stitched headrests and rear seats appear with normal with only slight wear spots on the drivers seat’s outside bolster visible. The matching black door panels, arpet (with matching 35th anniversary logo floor mats) and dashboard are a contrast of the striking red exterior of the car and look fantastic. All gauges are ergonomically placed, ave correct appearance and function as originally designed. The originally equipped leather steering (comfortilt) is in excellent condition and functions as designed. The heater and air conditioning function as designed. Power seats, ower windows, ower locks, 5th Anniversary dash plaque and Monsoon stereo with remote CD changer.

This nicely represented Chevrolet equipped with a 350 cid LS1 V8 engine, atted to a 4-speed automatic transmission with overdrive, imited-slip differential, pgraded Bilstein and Eibach suspension, erformance Dual Exhaust (additional 10hp!) 4 wheel disc brakes with ABS (anti-brake system), ower rack and pinion steering and quick ratio steering. The wheels are 17 inch polished aluminum 10-spoke original Camaro SS rims with directional Goodyear performance tires. Included with this car is the 35th anniversary case with notepad, riting pen and tire gauge, riginal factory books, ales literature and window sticker!
