1980 Volvo 262C Bertone Coupe 2-Door 2.8L M46 Manual

Vin VC26269AD007561 1 Owner Texas Car Black/Black M46 Manual Transmission Car Non-Running Vehicle Hello everyone. I bought this car last year for two reasons. I wanted the seats for my Bertone and I wanted to keep it from going to the crusher. which is where it was heading. In my attempt to get it running I pulled the plugs. sprayed down the cylinders with oil and the engine turns over great. The engine also has spark. I moved on to fuel but the pumps would not turn on. I tried jumping the fuel pumps. The in tank pump was making noise but now it is not. The in line pump makes a tiny effort to make noise but seems dead. At this point I give up. I don't really want to replace 2 pumps to find out the k-jet pump is dead. Sad. but I have another Bertone that needs my attention. So this car is now up for sale again. I currently have the car on the lift at my shop. Everything looks pretty solid. Some of the wiring looks a little iffy. One relay terminal looks like it got hot at some point and it looks like another relay is missing. Here are the rest of the photos that I have for now. The other obvious issue is the car has no clutch pressure. It goes into gear nicely but the trans does not engage. The PO left the car outside without a cap on the clutch fluid reservoir so I assume the master and slave cylinders need replacing. The good news is the car has a rust free chassis. the only rust on the body is around body trims. The car also has a bunch of nice parts and had a ton of work done before parked. I will include a brand new battery and a few other parts with the car. If you have any questions shoot away. I can deliver for a fee. The seats included with the car are in bad condition and need to be recovered. INFO: NOT original paint several parts of the car have been repainted never been wrecked has been backed into twice but fixed no major rust ( some small dimples around bottom of windshield from age ) NO major dents it still has the PRV engine top end of engine has been rebuilt engine still pulls hard for what it is exhaust manifold on drivers side has two bolts broke off in the head ( thanks to muffler shop sport exhaust was installed at ) it wasn't loud at first but it got worse the more I drove it. I have gotten estimates to fix it and there really were not that bad NO ac compressor No original spare. its a smaller one and only fit two cars ( but it is still available from VOLVO it fits 262c and 242GT ) trunk interior is great car interior is great No upgrades to interior left it all original all badges still intact all lights work power windows work power locks work headliner doesn’t sag NO radio has install kit for aftermarket stereo head unit has new INFINITY door speakers NO rear speakers stock jack intact jack well cover straight all gauges work needs new temp sending unit clock stopped
