Description |

1967 Volvo 1800S, wasbeing driven regularly up until an accident, causing the front end damage. The unibody seems to be straight, but the fender and nose are banged up. The last registration for the car was around the mid- 1990s.
The rest of the car has rust in the typical places- rockers, unibody side supports, floors, trunk, battery box, and around the edge of the trunk lid and engine bay. There is no hood. The doors still open and shut easily, with no sagging, and the trunk opens and shuts fine. The floor where the seats mount is rusted out. The fuel tank has a rust hole about the size of a quarter but the rest of the inside of the tank looks solid. The front suspension crossmember is solid. The doors are rusty at the bottom edges.
All glass is there, The windshield is cracked and fogged, but the rest of the glass seems usable.
There is no engine or gearbox, and only the front part of the driveshaft. The steering is there, except for the two tie rod ends. It is missing the front brake calipers, too. The car was originally a 4 cylinder, B18 engine with twin carburetors and a 4 speed manual transmission. The rear axle is from a Volvo 122 Amazon. It fits, though the suspension arms are off somewhat. But the car does roll around - all four tires hold air - and can easily be loaded onto a trailer.
The interior components are worn but mostly present. The bottom of the back seat looks pretty nice; the rest of the seats are rough, though. The speedometer and a couple other gauges are missing, as is the steering wheel. The car seems to have originally been black with red interior.
I have a good trunklid and two good doors, if you're interested in purchasing them separately, and I believe I have a steering wheel, too and many other parts. I've been into old Volvos for many years now and have a collection of parts- mostly 122 parts, but some stuff from 1800s as well.
Payment is due within 7 days of auction end. It must be picked up within 2 weeks of the close of the auction. The Volvo is on my trailer and I can deliver it for $1.50 per loaded mile. Clean Title.
