I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 2001 Volvo V70XC. I would rate the exterior of this V70XC to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. As you can see. this is a good looking estate. It is finished in a dark blue with matching blue cladding. The finish has a mile deep shine and looks as smooth as glass. All of the body cladding is present and intact. The body lines up nice and straight. The hood. doors and tail gate all open and close easily. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The windows are tinted all the way around. The tint job isn't the greatest. If it were my personal car. I'd remove the tint but I'll let that for the next owner to decide for themselves. The factory alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in a nice set of rubber with good tread all around. Please take your time to look at each of the photos carefully. I would also rate the interior of this V70XC to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. Pride in ownership shows throughout this Volvo. The tan interior contrasts nicely against the dark blue exterior. The door panels are clean and tight. The carpets show well throughout the interior. The dash and headliner are clean. too. Both front seats are power operated and heated. The leather seats show well for their age (small 1" rip on passenger seat) and are comfortable. The power windows. locks. mirrors. seats and sunroof all work properly. The audio system is original and sounds good. There are steering wheel audio controls for your convenience. The climate control system is fully automatic and offers independent settings for the driver and passenger. The climate control system appears to be working properly. The cargo area is spacious and clean. This Cross Country wagon also comes with the rare 3rd row seating option which folds flat into the floor when not being used so it doen't take away from the generous amount of cargo room these Volvo's are known for. Mechanically. this Volvo appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 2. 4L turbocharged engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are good for an older vehicle. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. The brakes and steering feel good. too. The engine keeps perfect temperature and makes good power. There have been no warning lights or error messages present. The automatic transmission sometimes engages a little abruptly when it is hot but seems to shift fine. I'd recommend having the fluid changed to keep things operating at their best. Out on the highway. she drives nice and straight with no complaints. This Volvo has a current PA safety and emissions inspection good through the end of September. 2015. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.
