1990 Volvo 740 Turbo Sedan -- Cherry Red

This cherry red 1990 Volvo 740 Turbo has been a trusty. one-family-owned. daily driver. It only has 231. 47 miles on it. which is not many for this last great of the old Volvos. Included with it is the receipt and service record for every oil change since it was new. It consumes a little oil but it does not leak or smoke. It has leather interior and a 5 speed manual transmission. It has new exhaust after the catalytic converter; new brake rotors. pads. hoses. and fluid; the tires are 2 years old and have 90% tread left; and it has a new power antenna. All fluids have been changed on schedule. the transmission and rear differential fluid have been changed recently. I don't remember how long it's been since the a/c was charged. The driver’s seat bottom has been repaired. there is a split in part of the rear driver’s seat that can be seen in the pictures. I am not sure if the seat heaters work. one of the lighted switches lights the other doesn't. The radio works well but the display is intermittent. I just use the presets. The exterior paint has faded unevenly in some places. There are dents on both front quarters. one behind the drivers wheel well and one by the passenger turn signal. This car shines up very nicely with car wax. This Volvo was in service until January when the clutch began to slip. I would like to fix it. it needs less than $500 in parts. but I do not have the time right now. If the car doesn't sell it will sit and I will fix it later. It should not be driven more than a few miles without a new clutch. Otherwise. the maintenance is up to date; it will be due for spark plugs in 10k miles and a timing belt in 25k. I would also eventually change the front calipers as they drag a little. they are about $50-60 each. This is an older car with a lot of fun left in it. The turbo is peppy and has some attitude. There are some little quirks but it is a solid car. It was purchased in Princeton. NJ and spent most of it's life in Annapolis. MD. where it is now. It has an undercoat. so there is almost no rust.
