Near PERFECT condition only 5171 actual miles no body damage paint near perfect tires like new. 2010 Aprilia RSV4 Factory 2010 Aprilia RSV4 Factory - This RSV4 includes a Akrapovic full exhaust HID's and is in excellent condition! A must see! The pinnacle of the Aprilia line this multi-award-winning super sport is set to own road and track. Its ultra-compact 65-degree V4 is just the tip of the technology treasure trove in this Aprilia. Smaller slimmer lower and more agile than any other four-cylinder bike before it the RSV4 Factory combines Aprilia's track-inspired engineering and design from three distinct power maps and dual fuel injectors to a super versatile set-up that goes miles beyond the usual suspension geometry. Premium appointments such as carbon fiber fenders forged aluminum wheels and fully adjustable Ohlins Racing suspension distinguish the Factory race replica edition from the equally inspiring RSV4 R. Conceived developed and tested on the racetrack the Aprilia RSV4 Factory is every inch a serious competitor.
The motorcycle is built around a strong 999.6 cc V4 longitudinal 65° 4-strokes liquid cooled engine with double overhead camshaft (DOHC) and four valves per cylinder. The unit generates a maximum power of 184 Hp (1353 KW) at 12.500 rpm and 86.2 Lb-Ft 117 Nm at 10.000 Rpm. All this power is kept in leash by a 6-speed cassette type gearbox with multiplate wet clutch with mechanical slipper system.
The RSV-R makes an excellent used buy for the price of a modest used 600 you get genuine fancy-pants exotica that works everywhere. Personally this is the absolute fastest motorcycle I have ever ridden and yet it handles like a dream - way more capable than my abilities despite a motorcycle racing background. I can only dream of what it would have been like to have this bike 45 years ago when I was racing.
Engine The 998cc V-twin has loads of power from 2500rpm upwards. Power doesn't tail off at higher revs like some big capacity twins. From the moment you let the clutch out you know this is a serious bike. The instant drive builds and builds into a banshee high rev rush but it also manages the V-twin trick of seeming more controlled than most superbikes.
It's a stunner on a race track or smooth road. Leaning to any angle is effortless and the steering - always an Aprilia strong point - is pinpoint without ever getting flappy. You might imagine it'd be a handful on bumpier roads but the Öhlins forks and shock work their magic and let the bike float with amazing composure while always keeping those extra light weight wheels in contact with the ground.
Comfort Much better than you'd think. Plenty of people owners see it as a fast single seat sports tourer. The riding position's roomy the fuel range acceptable the seat's not too harsh and the screen effective. It's never going to be a Gold Wing rival but 500 mile days is very possible and the built in LCD compass as well as the large electronic display is always appreciated.
Brake rotors are huge providing more than ample stopping power all the way up to full on racing yet very controllable for riding even on wet or icy surfaces. Very capable and yet fully controllable at all times. I have not dared to see what the top speed of this bike is but zero to 130 mph is simply amazing and done in way less than 1/4 mile.
NADA value shows this at $10223.00 was over $16000 new and shopping at the Denver Aprilia dealer this bike is priced below any comparable Aprilia RSV or RSV-4 models around. Plus with only 5170 miles it is hardly even broken in.
