Aprilia Tuono 1000R

This is a very fine 2009 Aprilia Tuono in the frost white and silver paint scheme. This was the last of the twins (same as 2010, ast year they were made before going to the 4 cylinders). The bike is being sold by the only owner, nd it has been well cared for and was properly broken in. It was ridden mainly for commuting and some road trips, very comfortable over the road) and never used for stunts or wheelies. The frame, riple clamp,handlebar clamp and swing arm contain some of the nicest casting and machining you will see on a late model bike. The use of magnesium and aluminum kept the weight to a modest 407 lbs dry. Tires have only a few hundred miles on them (Dunlop Road Smarts). Road Smarts are an excellent road tire and I actually used them on the race track on a Triumph Sprint ST with good results. Also just put in a new battery. There is a small dent in the right exhaust can (seen in picture) from my boot heel which occurred when a car swiped into me when it changed lanes (did not crash). I still use the bike for short commutes so there may be a few more miles on it before the end of the listing. The picture that looks like a stock photo is. The rest are of the bike in this listing.
There are some extras: a BMC air filter (think Italian K&N), eo Vince SBK Titanium and Carbon fiber exhaust cans (original cans are included), hrottlemeister throttle lock. Pazzo gold annodized adjustable levers. Also included will be Vortex front and rear stands (see newly added picture).
