2012 BMW R1200GS Rallye, Low Edition, WESA, Saddlebags, 4,430 miles

For sell is a great. gorgeous. one of a kind BMW motorcycle. This is the last year for the air cooled R1200GS. and this particular model is the Rallye edition. The highlights of the BMW R 1200 GS Rallye special model: • body parts painted in Alpine white • graphics in the BMW Motorrad Motorsports colours • fork slider tubes lined in black • engine lined in black • rear frame lined in Magma red • swingarm (Paralever) lined in Asphalt grey metallic • cylinder head covers in Granite grey metallic • Enduro ESA • all chrome exhaust system • cross spoke wheels • heated grips • hand protectors in white • pannier holder • onboard computer. I bought this bike new in October 2012. and the BMW warranty is good until October 2015. The bike has many extra items. It has a California Scientific windshield that is great in that there is no buffeting and you are looking over the windshield. It also has a Sargent seat. Sargent seats and BMWs are like syrup and waffles. They go great together. The seat is very comfortable and looks fantastic. The bike is wired for and has a Garmin GPS system on the handlebars. It can be quickly unplugged and put in your saddlebags if needed. It has the AltRider wraparound engine guards. To carry your luggage. it comes equipped with the versatile BMW expandable saddlebags. They go on and off easy and lock very secure to the bike. What makes this bike VERY special is that is come with WESA (Wilbers Electronic Suspension Adjustment). I'm 5'10" tall. and when I rode the bike. I had to put down one foot or the other when I stopped. I could not straddle the seat and put both feet down. I worried that I might not be able to back it out of a parking space. or be riding on a dirt road and have to turn the bike around. I wanted to lower the bike but keep the excellent suspension and handling. I had GMD Computrack Atlanta in Fairmount. GA to professionally install Wilbers shocks on the bike. He also modified the sidestand and centerstand to accommodate the lowered suspension. The Wilbers are much better than stock. with the same electronic control just like ESA. Now. I can straddle the bike and put both feet on the ground. An added bonus is that now that the bike has been lowered. it handles even better due to the lower center of gravity. For all the people that always wanted a R1200GS but couldn't (or wouldn't) put up with the high seat height. this bike is for you. But - it wasn't cheap. It's and expensive endeavor. I'm the original over age 60 owner of this bike. I just don't ride as much anymore and need to get rid of some of bikes. Title is clear. All original suspension components come with bike.
