Up for auction by the original owner is an amazingly well kept 2002 BMW R1150R in Atlanta Blue. which was the model launch color. This bike is complete with ABS. heated grips. Ohlins suspension front and rear. speedster screen. and the tall BMW seat. It has the tail rack for factory hard bags. and a 12 V accessory port. It has never been down. and has always been garaged and maintained by a long time BMW owner. I added a Sebring Y-pipe and a set of BMW Mystic handlebars that are a bit lower and narrower than the stock ones. The Sebring Y-pipe makes a huge improvement in power. smoothness and throttle response. provides a noticeable weight decrease. and eliminates a major heat source right under the gearbox. The pipe combined with a K&N air filter really brings the engine to life! By retaining the stock stainless steel exhaust canister. it is still very quiet. just a bit throatier than stock. There is a Throttlemeister throttle lock included too. I have the original bars. along with the low seat that go with the bike. (buyer picks up shipping if separate from the vehicle). This is a very sweet running motorcycle. capable of whatever role you choose for it. I’ve ridden it many 500 mile days that were a joy all day. The Ohlins suspension is a huge upgrade in handling and cruising comfort. Tires were both replaced within the last 3. 00 miles. (probably 2000 miles left on the rear. 4. 00 on the front). The engine has never needed oil added between changes. (which were made at 6000 mile intervals with full synthetic after break-in). Valves adjusted and the throttle bodies synched at 38. 00 miles.
