Stunning 1986 BMW K100RS...meticulously maintained...low miles

Owing to retirement. relocation…and a new sailboat. I am going to sell my 1986 BMW K100RS. This is a stunning and exceptional motorcycle with low mileage that has been meticulously maintained and comes with extensive detailed records of maintenance and receipts. If you are reading this you are probably aware that many K100 bikes go 200. 00+ miles. I purchased the bike from a friend who was no longer able to ride due to health reasons. The bike has always been adult owned and properly cared for. The previous owner was a veteran rider in his 70’s and I am in my mid 60’s. Both of us have ridden BMWs for 40+ years. The bike has had several equipment upgrades through the years. Examples include recent new Wilbur rear shock. Corbin seat. and stainless Supertrapp header. Metzler tires front and rear are near new and the paint is flawless. The factory hard cases are in great condition and it comes with the original factory took kit and owner’s manual. You may be able to find a K bike for less but would undoubtedly spend a few thousand to get it in the condition that mine is in. It truly needs nothing. I am going to advertise the bike locally so reserve the right to end the auction early. On Apr-26-15 at 14:10:20 PDT. seller added the following information: I forgot to mention a chip in the paint and a few small scratches on bottom edge of the fairing. just below the headlight. that was courtesy of a flying semi tire fragment. The chip has been touched up but is visible. I have posted a photo of the area and a note on the ad. Just wanted to be sure to mention this. Thanks!
