This is the second time we have listed this very nice BMW with Steib Side-Car, have received numerous e-mails on this item, lease feel free to contact me with any questions you may have, hank You!
This is another motorcycle owned by my friend Louie, am currently helping him sell a few of his old motorcycles.
Here we have a nicely restored 1964 BMW R-60/2 with a nicely restored 1954 STEIB Side-Car (S-500), he motorcycle runs and drives without issue. I would label this as a nice rider restoration, t is not a concourse restoration. Louiedid the frame up restoration on the 1964 R-60/2 motorcycle in 1996 with many new parts from BOB's BMW and Top End and Valve Job services provided by HEID's BMW in Johnsburg NY. The motorcycle is a matching number cycle, he engine &frame numbers match.
I remember Louie purchasing the STEIB Side-Car at the AMCA Oley PA meet a number of years ago and restoring it for the R-60/2.
The Motorcycle and Side-Car were both painted by a good friend of Louie's, Professional Paint & Body Man.
The tires have good tread however these will need to be replaced due to weather checks in the sidewalls.
All receipts will be provided to the new owner.
