Royal Blue Metallic GTL

I am the original owner of this 2012 GTL. I purchased it in Urbana, L in May 2012 and have put all 29,788 miles on the bike. I retiredthis year and left mid June for Alaska on this bike. 20 days and 9,000 miles later, 'm back in Central Illinois. That's why I explained in the condition description that the bike is in"very good"condition, ut it's not like new. If you want a brand new bike or one that looks brand new, here are some others out there. I had a new set of Michelin PR 4's put on at Blackfoot BMW in Calgary, lberta on my way to Alaska. That was at 23,000 miles so the tires have just under 7,000 miles on them. My experience with the Michelin PR 3's and 4's has been great. I would expect these tires to go another 3,000 miles.

The 18,000 mile service was done by the Urbana dealer, s has all the service,and the valves were checked and in spec, o adjustment made. Everything else was gone through as well, er the BMW 18,000 mile check list. It is due for service now but most people that buy bikes on ebay prefer to have a service done as soon as they buy a new bike, o I'm not having it serviced.The bike runs perfectly and other than the small scratches (see photos)on the left mirror and the left side plastic chrome pieces on the side case and fairing, he bike has no other damage. Those scratches came as the result of the bike falling over atthe BMW Performance Riding School I attended in Greer South Carolina in April 2014. I was at a completestop, ut just could not hold the bike upright after it began to lean left. No other damage was done and you can see by the minor cosmetic scratches, t was not much of a fall. My ego was damaged far greater than the bike.

If you're considering buying a K1600, ou have obviously read all the specs and know the equipment they come with. This bike has the GPS with it,Sirius satellite radio (subscription over), daptive headlight and all the standard features of the GTL. I added the Wunderlich engine protection bars (after the tip-over in South Carolina so there is NO damage to them), he top case rack, nd the LED brake light in the top case. I have a BMW Touring screen that is a little larger than stock and an AeroFlow screen that can go with the bike if you want them.

This bike can be picked up or I will deliver it to the new owner and only ask that you pay my way back to Illinois. Ican also make the bike available to be picked upby whatever shipping arrangements the owner chooses. The GTL is a great bike but I have a 2014 R1200 RT that is easier for me to handle and has all the performance I need. That's why I'm selling the K1600. Good Luck.
