The bike was purchased in May of 2013 was equipped with the Premium Plus Package. Warranty is good until May 14th, 016.
Package & Extras includes:
Aftermarket Upgrades:
Bike sees mostly commuting duty (20 miles round trip) with some weekend day or short multi-day rides thrown in. I do use it on gravel/dirt roads such as Forest Service Roads and some light two track. The bike has been down (2) times, oth times at a stop. Quick description of drops:
All service has been performed at my local BMW shop, ncluding all service bulletins and any recalls. I can give more info on any of this if requested. The biggest item of note was the gas tank was just replaced under warranty due to deformation by the filler neck, ost likely due to a manufacturing defect. I am kind of out of sync with the standard service schedule, ust had the final drive oil and some other maintenance taken care of so the 12k service can actually be postponed until around 14.7k.
The front tire has some life left but the rear had a puncture recently and is plugged. I was going to get them replaced but I think I will hold off and allow the buyer to choose what tires they want if they are around $350 or less (not including installation fees). Buyer to pay the difference if the tires are more expensive.
I have the original skid plate, ear luggage rack, isc hardware from the bike if the new owner would like any of this.
Closest airport is RDU which is about 30 miles from my home. If someone wishes to do a fly and ride I will assist in transportation from the airport.

- Soon after purchase I was still not used to the clutch engagement point. Was crawling forward from a stop sign and stalled the bike with the wheel turned and dropped it. Was able to let it down very slowly.
- Dropped on a hill on a dirt two track lane. Put foot down when the bike started going over and got nothing by air so down we went.

Sorry for the double post on the description, as trying to amend the part about the USB outlet to say that it is now reattached to the handlebars.
Cash/Bank Transfer are by far the preferred method of payment. Certified Check will only be accepted in certain situations and extra delays in receiving the motorcycle and/or title may occur until the check is totally cleared (can take up to a couple weeks).
