Motor was blown on this bike atapproximately33,000 miles, t was a defective bearing. BMW NA replaced complete motor from Germany. Included was a new clutch, ensors, park plugs, luids, ll work can be verified via Max BMW in CT. All work andmaintenancehas also been performed by Max BMW in CT since new.
The good news is, he motor has a 2 year unlimited mileage warranty with BMW NA. So ride with confidence. Selling bike to fund my new business, therwise I would never sell it. To me it's still the best bike BMW has to offer, t does everything great. From justcruising, o long rides, he perfect all around machine.
