Description

This is a 2006 BMW K1200R with 34,600 miles in excellent shape. It has every factory option except for the alarm system and center-stand, nd has a lot of additional upgrades as well.

I am the original owner, he bike has been garaged its whole life when not on the road, nd looks great for its age. I have used this bike on many multi-day 1,000+ mile trips and it will carry you and your luggage without issue and do it at very high speed. I did low-side once on the racetrack which caused minimal damage, ostly cosmetic, hich has been repaired.

The bike just came back from the dealership for an early 36,000 mile tune up which covers; oil change, ew spark plugs, ull fuel system flush and clean, lush and replace brake fluid, nd valve adjustment. This all cost over $1000 but the bike is running perfect and is good to go for another 18k miles except oil changes.

These KR bikes are monsters, nd I have dyno’d this bike at 150hp and 85lb-ft at the rear tire. With its length and maintenance-free shaft drive it doesn't lift the front tire unless you want to, ut it can do 0-20 in 2.8 seconds and I have done an indicated 150mph and the speedometer needle was still climbing. I've even done an indicated 140mph with a passenger.

The electronic suspension makes switching from freeways to mountain roads, r from solo to two-up with luggage as simple as pushing a button. The heated grips are a lifesaver in cold weather, nd the Power Commander allows you to adjust the engine mapping as you see fit. And with the custom Corbin seat and both BMW side cases mounted along with the Givi 4.7 liter top case you can carry enough gear for a multi-day trip with ease and comfort.

If you are looking for a great all-around bike this is the one. Seating ergonomics are great, ith a slight reach forward but not upright like a cruiser and not hunched over like a sports bike. It is small enough to commute on (as I did for many years) but big enough to tour on. And with its high tech suspension and insane amount of power this bike will eat up fast back country roads like nothing else. I’ve had a lot of great rides on this bike, ut with my second kid due any day it’s time to let it go to someone who has time to enjoy it.

Shipping can be arranged at additional cost, ut as it is not cheap to ship a motorcycle and I have a lot of extra parts that go along with the bike so a local pickup would be easier.
