- Clean MA title in my name (no bank liens, tc)
- NO ABS, eated grips and seat, cerbis hand guards, ID computer, tainless Spiegler front brake lines.
READ PLEASE! There are accessories shown in the photos that DO NOT come with the bike. Since no one seemed to be interested in the entire package that I've spent the past three years assembling (sad!), 've removed them and can re-install "a la carte" after the auction is over for an additional fee.
Here is what DOES NOT come with the bike when you win the auction: (parentheses contain the price if you wish to add these items post-auction)- Top case and Givi bracket/mount not included. Original grab rail comes with the bike. ($250 for a different Givi 52L top case and the bracket reinstalled)-Ohlins shocks, ust rebuilt. Stock Showa shocks come with the bike. ($500 Ohlins front installed, 500 Ohlins rear installed)- BMW crash bars installed ($250)- HID lights installed. ($100)- PIAA fog/driving lights installed ($100)- Stebel air horn installed ($50)- AF-XiED Fuel controller installed ($200)- Touratech Fork guard installed ($50)
I've got the extremely anal and detailed service history during my ownership available to ensure that this bike will be going strong through 150K and beyond. I use this GS daily as a commuter and touring bike and it has never once left me stranded, nywhere. I was attracted to this particular bike because it was used, aintained well, nd loved. It was not just a hangar queen with low miles. It has some scratches and marks here and there - what you'd expect for a GS! Mechanically, t's in excellent condition and probably better than most any 1100GS out there for sale now.
Here's some of the items that have the most immediate impact and make the bike feel new again:
- New throttle and clutch cables - no sticking, mooth response throughout- New fuel lines and filter.
- Transmission rebuilt completely by one of the best mechanics for this type - Anton Largiarder in West Virginia. Less than 5k miles since rebuild. Splines lubed with the appropriate moly grease upon reassembly : ) clutch assembly replaced at same time.
- Michelin Anakee 3 tires in great shape - the rear is almost new. Front <3k miles.
- Seat is HEATED and has 1/2" more padding than original, it's more comfortable.
- Swingarm bearings are new - you don't realize the importance of these until you have new ones.
- TBs cleaned and balanced - the response is crisp, uick, nd smooth.- Touratech Hard Parts transmission/footpeg mounts correct the weak mounting points on the transmission which can break. Not any more!
I'm happy to work with your shipper and be present when the bike is picked up, ake lots of photos, nd be helpful. I can recommend excellent shippers for either countrywide or for the eastern seaboard.
