*Move your mouse over the pictures for clear high res, have no idea why the stock ones are out of focus like that.
I've decided to sell this bike with all its additions installed instead of parting it out. The Ohlins are a thing of beauty, he catless headers let this 1200cc beast breathe and roar, nd the Brembo master cylinder combined with the stable Ohlins forks transform braking.
As you can see by the peg knobs and rear brake lever (where they are at now is perfect and I rarely touch them down anymore), his bike has no trouble confidently hanging out on the edge of the tires with the Ohlins installed. Don't let the 9T's retro nature fool you, t is a capable bike and in this form is head and shoulders above stock in both performance and appearance.
3M vinyl is on the tank cut outs and instrument shroud(matte grey), ront fender holders, eat frame pieces, ntake cover and tail hump. All are easily reversible in a couple minutes. I went the vinyl route to make sure I liked the look before I painted anything, hen realized it looks good enough for me as is. The hump is the most budget looking, just threw it on to see how it looks and was planning on getting it painted in the same style.
Never been dropped, as properly broken in and gently warmed up every ride, lways either garaged or under a high quality all weather cover in the shade. Changed oil every ~2-3k, ast change was around 7600mi. Throttle bodies were synced and valves adjusted back around 8,000mi. The front wheel is a little out of balance, aven't gotten around to getting it re-balanced since it doesn't bother me. There has always been a pause in the start cycle where you press the start button and the first turnover takes a second, hen from there its business as usual. It's never once failed to turn over and start for me but its worth mentioning, don't know if its the battery or the starter switch that's to blame.
Couple scratches here and there (the two noteworthy ones are pictured), othing out of the ordinary for a bike with ~10k miles. If you know anything about the boxer engine you'll know 10k is nothing, nd this particular one has only burned a little bit of oil through break in which is a good sign. The Ohlins have ~6k miles on them, he road 4's have ~2k miles and lots of life left. Original rear seat and subframe will be included.
Additions:
-Ohlins Road and Track forks, hlins shock- $3,300
-Brembo RCS 19 brake master cylinder, izoma fluid reservoirs (front and rear)- $530
-Remus headers, oosterplug(maintains optimum a/f ratio with the catless headers)- $700
-Motobox slimline LED integral tail light- $365
-Michelin pilot road 4 tires- $300
-Cyclops bright white LED headlight and DRL- $100
-BMW metal cylinder head protectors (high temp paint)- $250
-BMW tail hump & pad- $683
-Oberon bar end LED blinkers- $170
-PSR mirrors- $200
-Pro Taper pastrana fmx handlebar- $100
-BMW tank bag- $330
-Grip buddies- $25
Total: ~$7,050
Given the price of all these additions and the prices of bone stock used 9T's I think the starting price is a fair place to begin. I would use a reserve and lower the starting price but reserves suck. The mileage might creep up a little between now and sale, othing too crazy though.
I've got nothing against the bike being shipped and will help out the buyer on my end with facilitating the pickup, ut once it is loaded in the trailer it is yours. Choose a good shipping company. I will accept a cashiers check and/or cash in person, nce the check is received the title will be signed over and bike pickup is a green light.
