1961 BMW R60/2 / VW 1300 Motor

1961 BMW R60/2 with 1300 cc VW motor. Conversion from the late 1960's from Southern California. The motor is a 1966 1300cc VW motor with dual port heads and single carb. The bike runs and is good shape as pictured. Everything works. Pretty unbelievable, lways garaged. It really gets some looks......Actually we have had a friend who wanted to put it on the Salt Flats but of course since it is a VW motor it couldn't run with motorcycles but I talked to some race officials and there were some other events scheduled it could participate in ....so i didn't pursue it any further then, onneville was cancelled for this year, o there you go!
