2013 BMW F800GT, oaded!!! Low Miles!
So you didn't get what you really wanted for Christmas. Well it's not to late to fix that. This bike is completely outfitted. It has every BMW option plus just the right level of aftermarket accessories to leave you wanting for nothing ...Other than a few more riding miles! This bike has ABS brakes, SA, lectronic suspension adjustment, ffering Comfort, ormal and Sport suspension response at the touch of a button. Automatic Stability Control continuously monitors wheel speeds to prevent loss of traction on wet or slippery surfaces. Tire pressures are monitored and displayed, long with two trip meters, n outdoor temperature display, ear selection and more. Heated hand grips. Side and top cases provide ample storage capacity for whatever comforts you care to take along for the ride. Each compartment has ample room for a full face helmet. All three bags are removable and keyed to the ignition for the convenience of total access with only a single key.
After taking full advantage of all the BMW options, dditional aftermarket accessories were added to further enhance the riding experience. Let's start with the windshield. This bike is equipped with a Madstad wind screen. I have to say I've never had a better windshield, n any other bike I've owned or ridden. I'm very impressed with this windshield. If you're taller or shorter you can adjust it to your liking. No tools needed.
A set of bar back risers from SW-Motech adds that "just right" handlebar position that's absent from the stock motorcycle. If you do a web search on this specific bike you'll find a set of bar backs by Verholen. My wife has these on her F800ST, ut the offset on her bike is a little too much for me. I just didn't want that much of a position change from stock. These SW-Motech Risers couldn't be better!
A Throttlemeister throttle lock provides relief for the right hand on longer trips. The fluted model provides ease of use by requiring a lighter grip than the smooth model when` making adjustments. The black finish looks great on the bike too. I don't think there's a better functioning or better looking throttle lock on the market.
In addition to the BMW accessory outlet, battery pigtail was added. I use it with my heated jacket and also for the occasional maintenance charge durning the off season. It neatly tucks away inside the side cover when not in use so as not to detract from the beauty of the bike. Then there are some seemingly small refinements from the Wunderlich catalog that pay big dividends in terms of comfort function and security. These include a chrome piece that adds some substance to an otherwise smallish gear shift lever. A side stand pad increases the side stand foot print. This prevents the side stand from sinking into hot asphalt or loose gravel. I've never experienced a tip over and with this pad I'm sure I never will. There's also a pad added to the brake lever that increases the contact surface. It's nicely knurled to prevent your foot from slipping. An added bonus is that it does this unobtrusively and discretely. The big ticket item is the Wunderlich seat. I must say, hough it is very attractive, find that it offers much more than just good looks. It's a nice perch to say the least. I still find myself standing up on the pegs every once in a while to stretch out my legs, ut I have no complaints from the buttocks even on long rides. A Ztechnik graphite tank protector, he one actually made for this bike so it fits properly, oes exactly what it should to prevent scratching the beautiful black paint finish. An RG Tail Tidy really cleans up the appearance from behind. Sometimes it's the little things, he attention to detail, hat makes all the difference.
This bike has been maintained in like new condition. There are some marks on the bags (see photos) but, he bike is in like new condition. Mobile 1 synthetic was changed at 3652 miles well ahead of the BMW 6000 mile maintenance schedule. The bike has around 5900 miles on it now so there's still some miles left to go on the current oil change. There's still decent rubber left on the tires. This bike is still under the transferrable BMW factory warrantee. I have the clear title in hand.
Take your time to price a new one. Then add on the bags and all these accessories before trying to convince yourself, r your spouse, hat you can justify spending thousands more for a zero mile model. Good luck with that. Then come back and place your bid. The difference is much more bike for much less cash. End the search. My reserve leaves plenty of meat on the bone. Don't let this one get away!
$500 down payment required immediately after the close of the auction via PayPal. Balance due within 7 days by Certified bank check. Title will be mailed overnight insured to buyer within 24 hours of my bank confirmation and release of full payment. Buyer is responsible for pickup or shipping charges. Cash is also accepted if you would like to pick up the bike.
