1968 BMW R60 US 1704 original miles

I have for sale a stunning 1968 R60US motorcycle with only 1704 miles. This motorcycle was initially sold to Green Motor Sales in Plainview. TX as demonstrated by the Butler & Smith Statement of account. nvoice Statement and the Manufacturers Statement of Origin card. Pictures included and will go to the new owner. The envelopes the documents came in are also included but not pictured. Green Motor Sales went out of business and the owner of High Plains BMW purchased the motorcycle for his personal collection. He then sold the motorcycleto my friend Bob Fowler. It sat in his collection until his death in 2011. when I purchased the motorcycle in 2002 his widow had went to the DMV and had a bonded Title made for the motorcycle. Since there was no previous owner on record this protected the motorcycle from being claimed by anyone else. She also signed and had notorized a statement of fact that validates this account. I personally know the owner of defunct High Plains BMW. The lucky winner of the motorcycle will be supplied his name address and phone # at auction end to validate the statement of facts on the history of this motorcycle. The pictures help show the superior condition of this motorcycle. Yes there are a few minor paint scratches as expected on a 47 year old motorcycle. The right hand grip has some cracks in the rubber at the endcap. I think these may be original tires. No cracking due to proper storage. No nicks in the rims. Paint is shiny and a small touch up on the rear fender below where a battery leaked acid years ago. The documentation helps validate the nature of this motorcycle and claims made. The manufacturers of Origin card was never given to the owner when purchasing from the dealers. I could go on and on decscribing the condition of the motorcycle but the pictures will do my talking. You do not even have to get your hands dirty. They are only original once. Plenty of documentation to support the claims made on this museum piece. I have put 79 miles on it in my 13 year ownership. The occasional run through the paces keeps seals fresh and metal parts lubricated. I personally know the previous 2 owners so I knw the history of this bike for at leasst the last 30 years.
