BMW 1200 RTP 2008

2008 BMW R1200rtp touring motorcycle. runs great. looks great. only 25596 miles which is very low for these engines. 6 speed. shaft drive. nbsp;electric windshield works as it should. heated grips. solo seat in great condition. backrest not ripped or torn. the key operates ignition. rear fairing. and saddle bags. comes prewired for heated seat but does not include the actual heated seat. all lights and gauges work like they should. Good Dunlop run flat tires. ABS. tire pressure monitoring system. fuel gauge. temp gauge. Clutch is great and there is no engine light on. Bike runs and shifts well. plenty of power; suspension on these bikes is awesome. The police bikes have a more narrow saddle bag than the regular RT. They also have a bigger alternator. which is nice if you want to add lights or a radio to the bike. Fog lights were added on the existing brackets and the existing wiring and switch used to activate those lights. There are minor scratches on the crash bar and the engine guard. but no dents or scratches on the engine or the bike fairing. Was owned and operated by the City of Montgomery in Alabama. I spoke with the head of motorcycle maintenance and he told me they follow all of the BMW maintenance requirements on all bikes. The only thing the deviate on is the oil change. They do it sooner than BMW requires. This bike is for sale locally as well. Therefore the listing can be taken down at any time. Some extras spares come with the bike: Tail light with light bulbs. crash bar. front brake rivet package. backrest and a nice cell phone bracket with a RAM ball mount. Comes with clean and clear Indiana Title in my name. and bike is currently registered and insured so the mileage will change as I do ride it when the weather permits.
