I just love it . it took me coast to coast across the USA in two weeks covering 5000 miles on the way. and has to be one of the most comfortable bikes for a long journey. Many people think that the original K1600 gearbox is somewhat clunky . the gearbox on this bike started to fail at the end of last season. and I had the entire gearbox replaced under warranty by BMW. The replacement gearbox is the latest more refined version as delivered on brand new K1600'sWarranty: None -The Warranty has now expired (Just) . as previously stated the gearbox has just been replaced under warranty.
