BMW motorcycle R90S

1974 R90S - the 68th one imported - 30k miles - all numbers match - purchased 12 years ago from original owners son. mileage validated at that time - Great rider with some nice period options. Runs faultlessly. no smoke. shifts correctly. stops as it should. has been in dry storage for last two years as you can tell by the pictures. but always garaged. With a bit of gas. an oil change and air in the tires. she'll be road worthy once again. The paint is very nice. all lights and clock are working. The purists among you will note the slash 7 tank with the R90s paint scheme. The original tank is included although it has a dent in the lower left corner. The bike has period correct Lester mag wheels. complete stainless steel exhaust. electronic ignition. s/s brake lines. the usual tool kit and manual. The panniers are new although of a later vintage. Will help load bike. but shipping is not included. Since it is hard to evaluate a bike sold at auction. I will assure you that the engine starts easily without any problematic noises and that the transmission/clutch work as they should. beyond that this sale is "as-is". but. really a nice old airhead.
