1972 BMW R60/5 Toaster Tank short wheel base black metallic. 31. 81 original miles. Purchased from the widow of the original owner. always stored indoors. New IRC tires tubes and rim strips. New euro motoelectrics starter motor. New heavy duty diode board. olid mounting studs and new enduralast adjustable voltage regulator. New Brushes. points. ondenser. New advance weight springs. New upgraded drive shaft bolts{better type without washers} new drive shaft boot and clamps. All light bulbs replaced including headlight. All components work. Tachometer needle fell off gauge and is loose inside the gauge. I am told this was a common occurrance. New UNI air filter and AGM battery new battery straps. Wheelbearings and steering bearings have been inspected and greased. Brakes are new and in good condition. Swing arm greased and all fluids replaced in fall of 2014. No rust in battery box. Period correct BUCO windshield in very good usable condition and easily removable. New fuel petcocks. Clutch and valves have been properly adjusted. Matching engine and frame numbers. If you are looking for a good reliable vintage rider. this bike would fit the bill. Many more items have been inspected and replaced as needed to make this bike a reliable rider.
