This is a very low mileage, original paint, SA 441 Shooting Star that is in extraordinarycondition. It has only 2,664 miles on it. The bike has always been in Southern California. It was originally purchased from Don Vesco's motorcycle shop in El Cajon, A. It still has the Don Vesco dealer sticker on the frame. The original owner had the bike for 30 plus years and virtually never rode it. When he passed away, is estate sold it with only 30 miles on the odometer. The second owner replaced the carburetor, put on a set of new Avon tires, ined the inside of the tank, and recovered the seat.He only rode thebike about 2,000 miles and decided to put it on consignment at Sonny Angel's motorcycle shop in National City, A. The third owner had a BSA 441 as his first motorcycle at age 14. When he saw this bike at Sonny Angelshe had to have it. He purchased the bike in 2007 and rode it only 600 miles. I purchased the bike as an investment in 2012. It reminded me of the many British bikes that my husband had restored to perfection over the years. I have never ridden the bike however it has been maintained and started periodically.I havehad most of the sealsreplaced including the rocker box, rimary case, ngine oil sump cover, rimary drive, lave gear, ain shaft, nd primary cover.
