This Triumph Trident 750 epitomizes the early 1970’s British motorcycle that became a permanent part of British motorcycle history and still represents the classic style…This particular bike was restored and raffled off by the British Iron Association of New England. Everything on this bike works like it did when it came out of the factory! All the lights / turn signals work excellent; it has a new paint job done in original colors. All the chrome on the bike is excellent.
The Triumph Trident was the last major motorcycle developed by Triumph Engineering at Meriden, est Midlands. It was a 750 cc air-cooled unit construction pushrod triple with four gears and a conventional chassis and suspension. The motorcycle was badge-engineered to be sold under both the Triumph and BSA marques. The Rocket 3/Trident was part of Triumph's plan to extend the model range beyond their 650 cc parallel twins. Created to meet the demands of the US market, he smooth 750 cc three-cylinder engine had less vibration than the existing 360 twins. Just 27,480 Rocket 3/Tridents were produced during its SEVEN-year history. Mint condition Burgundy, old, nd silver paint jobThe Triumph on the road is very easy to handle, nd rides down the road very tight, ith no shakes, himmies, r rattles. It shifts and accelerates smoothly and holds the road as it should—This bike in particular does not leak!Matching Chassis and Motor Vins! :Chassis Vin: AG01227 T150 Motor Vin: AG01227 T150 Call Ken at 860-916-9784 if you have any questionsThe museum has over 100 bikes we are selling to raise museum repair funds…our loss your gain!
