1990 Buell RS 1200 Westwind

This is a nice example of an early Buell Westwind. Second owner for the past 21 years. part of my personal collection. This is a 1200 with a 4 speed transmission. Previous owner had the following performance upgrades installed at Stamford HD when new: Screaming Eagle cams. ignition and Carb. I have receipts for the work done. Never had any issues. pulls like a freight train. allot of fun. Only issue I ever had was a leaking gas tank due to the introduction of ethanol fuel. Several years ago I had a master aluminum craftsman fabricate an aluminum gas tank beneath the fiberglass tank. Can't tell it's there and this has eliminated any possible leaks. Also switched to gravity fed fuel which makes it more enjoyable and less complicated. Downsizing my collection. Time for someone else to enjoy. I noticed a slight oil leak around left fork leg. other than that no leaks at all. Tires have plenty of life. Again. this is an all original bike including paint. Paint is mint. Available for inspection. You will be hard pressed to find another in this condition. Thanks
