Service Manuals (paper & PDF) {$50}Service history:*Charging system recall. done in 2010. *Be sure any 1125 you are looking at had this done. *Rotor UPGRADE. **this is a very important/critical upgrade to any 1125. that you WANT!! I had the stator fail 2 times during long rides. leaving me stranded -not cool. Other 1125 owners have also experienced multiple stator failures. Finally in 2012 Buell engineered a fix: an upgraded rotor that sprays cooling oil on the stator -problem solved! But you have to get HD Service to remove the rotor (special tools needed) then swap parts with Buell in Milwaukee. WI -and then have the new rotor installed. downtime and labor/parts cost {$450}
(I included photos from the Buell site showing both the ECM & Rotor upgrades. )Service Contract: I paid $1900 for a 5-yr extended service contract. which is good for another 20 months (think of it as a $700 value for you!) Yes the contact IS transferable to any new owner; and you can then renew it if desired in Oct 2016. This service contract is offered thru HD and you can read about it online; it's REALLY GOOD and covers a lot. It paid 100% for my previous stator issues ($1400. ) Harley riders nationwide praise this service option thru HD. Bike with all above extras/mods . $11. 00.
