2000 Buell M2 Cyclone· Plastic – 9 out of 10. Nearly perfect body work. Black plastics are shiny. crack and chip free. · Paint – 9 out of 10. Nearly perfect paint on wheels. Paint on tube frame is also nearly perfect. · Seat – 9 out of 10. · Gauges and controls – 9 out 10. · Engine cases – 9 out of 10. Engine is very clean and leak free – barely if any corrosion or dirt on engine cases. · Mechanicals – 9 out of 10. Fork oil. brake fluid have been replaced. Engine oil and primary oil and chain adjustment. This was done last fall at Suburban Harley in Thiensville WI. Carburetor cleaned. Engine has maintenance free hydraulic valve lifters. I am not aware of any unattended mechanical or maintenance issues. · Originality – 10 out of 10. Unmolested. unrestored. one owner original in 100% stock condition with just over 2000 miles. Needs new tires to ride. They are original equipment from 2000 and have some visible dry rotting. There is a little bit of staining on the muffler that I didn’t try to remove. like some kind of fluid baked onto it at some point. It may be possible to remove that. Finally. there is a rub mark on the gauge housing from a rubber key fob - can likely be removed. I can’t think of any other flaws. The bike runs out very well in all gears and shifting is smooth. This is very nice example of the M2 and is a preferred later model year with the updated ThunderStorm heads. There is no evidence that the bike has been tipped or been down. I have not seen one for sale with this kind of mileage and condition in many years. I’m selling because I’d like more room for other projects. Bike must be paid for in full before it leaves my possession. I can hold it for a limited time after payment. I’ve found it is always cheaper to buy the best example you can possibly find rather than try to restore something to original condition. My reserve is a fair price given the condition.
