1975 Honda TL 250 trials original survivor

NO RESERVE...NO RESERVE . here we have a un-restored original survivor 1975 Honda tl 250. I purchased this about a year ago from an estate. it was a one owner bike that was stored in his bedroom for over 30 years. I was told the gentleman was true motorcycle lover and had a good relationship with the local Honda dealer and purchased many, any motorcycles from them. at that time I was told many bikes came 2 in a crate and it was customary when he wanted something unique like this,because the dealer was unsure about the ability to sell the 2nd bike,he would just buy 2,ride one and save the other. this was the one that he "saved". I purchased the bike with the intentions of riding in some vintage trial competitions. once I got the bike home I decided it was just way to nice for that, ith the risk of damage and such,I just couldn't do it ! it belongs in a museum or on display or In a collection. I have never ridden or started the bike.I have no reason to believe it would not run. it turns over freely with what seems to be excellent compression. I just never made the time to go thru the airbox, ilter,car, etc. to try to start it.
Condition : I have seen a lot of older bikes and in my opinion it is in amazing condition for a 41 year old bike. it is in the condition that only comes from not being used and good storage. I would have to guess that it has to be one of, f not the finest un-restored original TL 250's in the country. that being said, t is a 41 year old bike. it is not showroom new. time does take a toll no matter what you do to keep it from happening.I have included all the pictures ebay would allow and will describe the bike as best I can to try and avoid any un accurate expectations. there is a small ding on the gas tank I have tried to capture in the picture . I would think could possibly be a paintless repair. there is a small chip on the top of the gas tank I would think that could be touched up. there is a dent in the cover of the muffler. the front fork tubes have some surface corrosion on the lower aluminum legs.the seat cover has no rips or tears but one small spot appears to have come unattached from the seat pan, nd to my knowledge that is it. all the items mentioned I have tried to include good pictures of. There are no fluids leaking from the engine or fork seals, he tank is aluminum so no rust inside. the bike appears to me to be 100% original with one possible exception,I noticed it had a Nitto tire on the rear and a bridgestone on the front . I don't Know if that is something they would do from the factory back then or not. both tires look to be very old and really not much more than the nubs worn off. other than the brands being different, hey look to be original equipment. this bike will be sold with a bill of sale.
